Please carefully read and follow these instructions to care for them in the days and weeks after surgery.\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"font-size: 1.8rem;\">Keep the animal in a confined area for one day.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 1.8rem;\">Restrict the animal&#8217;s activity for 7-14 days after surgery.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 1.8rem;\">Discourage running, jumping and rough play.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 1.8rem;\">Prevent the animal from licking the wound (cones are available for sale from PPAWS).<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 1.8rem;\">Do not wash or clean the incision.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 1.8rem;\">Keep the incision dry for at least 7 days after surgery.\u00a0<\/span>Bathing and swimming are not advised.\u00a0<\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 1.8rem;\">The stitches will dissolve over time (unless otherwise stated) and getting them wet will cause the stitches to dissolve too quickly.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li>The bandage can be removed 3 days after surgery. Once the bandage has been removed please check your pet&#8217;s incision daily until it has
