Phnom Penh Animal Welfare Society (PPAWS) is a full-service veterinary clinic and animal welfare organisation, based in both Phnom Penh and Kampot. The fees we receive from our veterinary work are one of the main sources of finance that we use to fund the many life-changing free and subsidised projects we undertake – not just for the benefit of the animals, but for Cambodian people too.
By using our veterinary practice, you are directly supporting PPAWS to improve the well-being of many stray cats and dogs across Cambodia.
PPAWS started in 2011 as the first veterinary and animal welfare NGO in Cambodia.
Now, in our 15th year, we are looking to move and expand, creating a larger, upgraded animal hospital that serves the community and a bigger animal rescue and shelter to help some of the many cats and dogs who need us.
Our new location will have:
🐾 an upgraded veterinary clinic for our clients
🐾 a larger, higher-capacity animal hospital
🐾 a larger base of operations for our free clinics and veterinary missions
🐾 new and improved, higher-capacity dog and cat shelters
