PPAWS has many cats and dogs in need of good homes. They are mostly abandoned and stray animals, and many have come to us for veterinary care after being rescued with an injury or illness. All our cats and dogs available for adoption and foster are healthy, desexed, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas, and assessed by our veterinarian immediately before going to their new forever home.
If you are not able to adopt an animal, you can make a huge difference by fostering a cat or dog while we find them a permanent home. Interested in being a fosterer?
Raly is one of our more shy residents, but she is friendly with people once she gets to know them, or if they have creamy treats! She loves to lounge and enjoys the company of other cats. Raly is the last cat waiting for a home from a litter of 5 cats, her brothers and sisters were all adopted first.
Poppy came to PPAWS after a terrible accident, needing one of her back legs and part of her tail amputated. Poppy has had a long but successful recovery and is very used to life on three legs. She is very friendly and super playful and active, she is just patiently waiting for her forever home.
Ruby is a very sweet and friendly cat who is desperate for her forever home. Ruby came to us for recovery after a trap-neuter-release program, but her territory was unsafe to release her back to, so she has stayed with us. She is a smaller cat who is very cuddly, and eagerly waiting for her forever family!
Maple was rescued on one of our missions, after escaping from a dangerous environment. Maple is receiving treatment for FIP, but is playful and friendly and doesn’t appear unwell. She would do really well in an adoptive or foster home with someone who can give her daily medicine, with support from PPAWS.
Lady was rescued from a pagoda with a large wound on her face, but she has recovered and has been thriving since. Lady is friendly and calm, and would be much more comfortable in a home environment. This sweet girl would love a calm home and a family to love her.
Chhmar and her mama cat were rescued from a violent attack, and Chhmar spent her whole life living in a home before being surrendered to our shelter. She is a sweet, very friendly and playful cat who loves attention. She sadly lost her mama cat to FIV recently, and is waiting for her forever family to take her home.
Holly was rescued at a pagoda after her siblings were killed by dogs. She is friendly, adventurous and very sweet. She loves snuggling in her banana bed, and is ready for get to her forever home. Holly has started her vaccines, and is ready for adoption.
Pop was brought to PPAWS by a kind person who saved him from being hit by a tuktuk. This young kitten is very friendly and would love to go to his forever home soon.
‘Mrs Beautiful Face’ was rescued from a pagoda after being stuck inside a stupa for a week. She is friendly, laid back, independent and relaxed. She is currently living at Ministry of Cat, waiting for her forever home!
Aiyo is one of our more shy and reserved residents, but she is warming up to people. She is still young, and with the love and care of a patient and kind adoptive home, we are sure she will open up and become a loving cat friend. She just needs to be given a chance!
Akako is quite fearful after her early life experiences. She is friendly with other cats and loves sunbathing and snuggling with her best friend, Aiyo. We would love her to find a home with a patient and kind carer who can help her to open up and show her true personality.
Ferne is a super-friendly girl who was rescued from a pagoda after other cats around her were killed by dogs. She is sweet, confident and chatty and loves cuddles and affection. You can meet Ferne at our partner rescue cat cafe Ministry of Cat, and see if she is the one for you!
Cup is one of our more reclusive residents. She is cautious and fearful from some scary early life experiences, but she has slowly opened up to our team. We hope she will meet a kind, patient person who will love her and take her home for her next chapter.
Star is a very fearful and reserved cat. She is friendly and sweet with other cats, but she is scared of people. She needs a loving home with patient and calm carers who can make her feel safe. Could that be you?
Pumpkin was abandoned at our shelter when he was unwell. Nobody came back to collect him, so he stayed with us. He’s a young cat who is now fully recovered and healthy, friendly, and just loves cuddles!
