April 2025 Mission: Koh Rong & Koh Rong Sanloem
The PPAWS team visited Koh Rong & Koh Rong Sanloem for a 6-day mission offering free and low-cost veterinary care to animals in need.
Our team was joined by international volunteer vet Dr. Tamara Drewett and spent a few days in Koh Touch, Koh Rong with the Pups In Paradise team, before heading over to M’Pai Bay in Koh Rong Sanloem. The team gave free and low-cost veterinary care to cats and dogs in these communities, including many spay and neuter surgeries, rabies and core vaccinations, flea and parasite treatments and more.
On this mission, the team completed a total of 62 desexing surgeries and 372 preventative treatments, as well as many emergency treatments and supportive therapies.
We completed:
🐾 14 dog castrations
🐾 30 dog spays

We want to say a huge thank you to WUFAW – Women United For Animal Welfare for sponsoring our mission, to our partners Koh Rong Pups in Paradise and Lovesick Hostel M’Pai Bay for helping to organise and host us in each location, and to everyone who fed, housed and supported our team and mission.
